Out now: Super Boys - The Big Fight wants to be mobile gaming's Super Smash Bros.

Would you like to play Super Smash Bros. on your phone?

Nintendo probably won't ever deliver such an experience with its upcoming mobile games. However, there's a studio that may have already.

Out now on iOS and Android, Super Boys - The Big Fight by Mooff Studios is a madcap platform-brawler with lots of wacky characters.

It's staged as a ludicrous TV show broadcast in the year 2019, when everyone's bored of everything except senseless violence - seems accurate.

It lets you build a team out of 53 different fighters (with six types: Warriors, Undead, Toons, Techs, Beasts, and Wizards) in order to beat up the heroes of older media.

That includes, so it seems, Mario after a lot of steroids, some cloaked sith from Star Wars, (all unofficial, of course) and the Purple Shirted Eye Stabber from webcomic Cyanide & Happiness.

You get into 2D arenas and attempt to knock the living stuffing out of them in multi-person fights. There are also big bosses to take on.

As well as the single player, it has PvP with tag-team and free-for-all fights, as well as ladders to climb.

You can download Super Boys for free on the App Store and Google Play right now. It does have IAPs but they only unlock things you can get by playing the game.
